CS371p Spring 2021: Week 3
What did you do this past week?
This past week I worked on my other classes mostly. I copied over my repo and I went back over lectures that I got confused or lost during so that I would have a better understanding of the assignment before I spent too much time working on it. I also tried to clear up my other classes so that I would be able to focus more on this class over the weekend.
What’s in your way?
This week I was mostly really anxious to start the assignment and that kept me from getting started which is kind of silly because I was worried about starting it, so I didn’t, but in waiting, I also made the assignment harder for myself because I have less time.
What will you do next week?
Next week I hope to finish the assignment on time. I hope to finish it by Sunday night, but will not be surprised if I keep working on it until Tuesday since I started so late.
If you read it, what did you think of the Continuous Integration?
I thought the article was really informative. It had lots of things not just about the pipeline but things that you should follow when working in a collaborative environment that I will be sure to use.
What was your experience of Collatz? (this question will vary, week to week)
Collatz has me a bit confused. I think I am going to rewatch lectures again because I am still a bit confused about the assignment.
What was your experience of exceptions? (this question will vary, week to week)
I never knew exceptions could be used in so many ways. I think it’s really interesting the way that you can use them to have two functions talk to eat other.
What made you happy this week?
I got an early birthday present this week which made me really happy. My service sorority also just finished rush and we got a few new people so I was happy to get to know them.
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
My tip-of-the-week is one I need to follow myself. It would be to get started on the assignment even if you are worried or nervous because it is better to get over those nerves as soon as you can rather than waiting.
